We Play Too is a small charity based in West Sussex. It develops projects which provide the opportunity for disabled children to interact with their peers and believes very strongly that all children have the right to inclusion, and that their disability should not restrict their play.
Lyn Aaron-Ferrigno started a campaign to build a better playground in order that her son and disabled daughter could play together at their local park; her daughter Zoe, who was 5 years old at the start of the campaign, has dystonic quadriplegic cerebral palsy which means she has not the use of her arms and legs and is confined to a wheelchair.
Her son Alex was able to play on all the equipment while his sister could only watch.

This campaign is being backed by Worthing Borough Council who agreed for Lyn to have part of the land at Brooklands Park in Worthing on the Lancing border; she won £50,000 towards her project on ITV’s People’s Lottery and she raised £10,000 herself in donations.

The complete project cost over £75,000. The playground includes a roundabout for both wheelchair and able bodied children, a bucket swing, sensory equipment, special wheelchair swing and an adapted see-saw for both able bodied and disabled users.
